In the media of today's society, children are often used to represent innocence. This piece portrays a young girl wearing an elegant blue dress and holding a tray of flowers - resembling purity. In contrast, the tray of flowers is embedded with the heads of animals - an unusually violent depiction. As the young girl offers a plate of animal heads surrounded by flowers, the audience is stimulated to question the girl's innocence.
