Statement
"Stages of Lemon" illustrates the contrast between reality and photo capture through the three layers of a lemon. In the first layer, three decomposing lemons are painted thinly. The second layer portrays ripe lemons while the last layer consists of dried real lemons. The dried lemons and the painted lemons juxtapose each other highlighting the contrast furthermore.
