Statement
Screws became a source of inspiration as I observed the complexity of their textured surfaces. Utilizing photography and charcoal drawings, I captured the screws from various angles and then used these photos to create designs. In an effort to explore different shapes, forms, and negative spaces I created collage posters in Illustrator and Photoshop. Although the object was small, I explored and incorporated every detail of the screw.
